Certified Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula, Lactation Counselor, Certified Newborn Care Specialist, Mindful Birthing and Parenting Instructor
Jillian has been supporting families with newborns and growing families since 2006 and brings over a decade of specialized training in postpartum care, lactation, newborn sleep, and perinatal family support. She is a Lactation Counselor, Newborn Care Specialist, Certified Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula, Infant Sleep Coach, and Miscarriage and Infant Loss Doula.
While Jillian truly loves babies, she loves watching parents be born even more. Supporting families through this tender, life-changing transition is at the heart of her work. As an IVF mom, she deeply understands the hope, uncertainty, and joy that can accompany this journey and strives to bring warmth, steadiness, and a positive presence to every family she supports.
Jillian lives in Saco, Maine with her husband, her cheeky two-year-old daughter, and their beloved rescue dog. She loves slow mornings, local farmers’ markets, and—after growing up in Florida—is currently learning to ski as an adult. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Community Doulas, a Maine-based nonprofit supporting families who may face financial barriers to care.
What are clients saying…
"It was a pleasure working with you- and actual lifesaver- to have your help. It made a world of difference for me and E's relationship and for us being mentally/physically available for A. I felt incredibly supported in all of my needs and decisions. You have a lovely way of guiding without forcing things. I'll never forget how you were there for R when A needed to go to the hospital. And 100% owe credit to you for R sleeping through the night.” - Julie D
"Jillian’s support was instrumental in easing my transition into becoming a first time mom. Her calm, warm, supportive presence and knowledge, especially around lactation, helped make everything feel less chaotic and unknown.” -Nina H
