Kim has been supporting mothers and babies in the perinatal period for over 15 years, providing in-home postpartum, lactation, and newborn care support in Philadelphia, NYC, and abroad in Cambodia and Thailand. She later co-founded a foundation in Haiti alongside a midwife, where she attended her first births as a birth doula.

After her time abroad, Kim trained with DONA and DTI as a birth doula and spent seven years in NYC, attending over 100 births in hospitals, birth centers, and alongside homebirth midwives. With a background in classical and modern dance, she integrates the mind-body connection into her work, helping clients prepare physically and mentally for birth in a way that is unique to them.

Kim firmly believes in the innate power of the body and is committed to guiding and supporting families in alignment with their values and priorities. Every birth she attends deepens her respect for the process, reinforcing her belief that birth is a universal experience that connects us all.

What are clients saying…

"Seeing Kim's face arrive at the hospital is still one of the best memories I have of that day as she brought so much calm, help, and assurance during a new and slightly anxiety inducing moment for me and my husband as it was our first child."

"Kim was a tremendous joy to work with, a calming presence and tremendously knowledgeable about pregnancy, pre-labor and labor. She was very hands-on and helped my wife stick to her birth plan which was very important and meaningful to her (and thus me).”
